The series documents the visual arts studies undertaken by Yves Charbonneau in the 1980s at the Cegeps of Matane and St-Jerome, concentrating on photography. The photographs give an impression of the life in a coastal area of Quebec during the 1980s, mostly through landscape photography and portraits.
The series includes photographs in form of negatives, prints, slides, and contact sheets, as well as two moving images, some class papers, and notes related to one of the films.
