Biographical history

Martin Duckworth is a film director, cinematographer and movie editor. He was a part-time instructor at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema between 1990 and 2012.

  • In 2015, at the Prix du Québec, Duckworth won the Prix Albert-Tessier for an outstanding career in cinema.

Custodial history

The material was donated by Martin Duckworth in the Spring of 2023.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of records pertaining to Duckworth's professional life as a movie director and cinematographer. The PRODUCTIONS sub-series contains records related to development of movies he worked on: contracts, proposals, correspondence, notes, research and reference documentation, photos and some media coverage.
