The fonds contains proceedings of the St. Patrick's Total Abstinence and Benevolent Society.

Between 1940 and 1986, Alex Robertson collected records. Most of the recordings in the fonds are 78 rpm's pressed in Montreal by Berliner and Compo: Berliner was the first Canadian company to produce records, and Compo was the first to record Canadian Black musicians. The fonds contains a large number of sound recordings that have never had commercial or widespread distribution. The fonds includes about 3,000 pieces of sheet music of various genres, dating from ca 1885 to 1970; about 1,000 pieces have Canadian content. The fonds includes numerous catalogues and promotional pamphlets from record and sheet-music publishing companies, dealers, clubs, and radio stations. Also included are books annotated by Alex Robertson in the course of his disco-graphical research. Alex Robertson's research materials on record labels and series, as well as on Montreal musical activity between 1913 and 1970 are included in the fonds. His extensive correspondence and related newsletters are included. The fonds includes photographs of Alex Robertson with his family; there is also a photograph of Alex Robertson with jazz author George Martin, and several of a reception held in his honor in the Concordia University Archives reading room in 1988.

The Jack Litchfield Fonds consists of typewritten manuscripts for A Chronology of Five Montreal Record-Collectors' Clubs and A Chronology of Six Montreal Record-Collectors' Clubs (1989).

The Johnny Reno fonds consists of two photographs of Percy Ferguson's Victory Serenadors, including Oscar Peterson, at Canadian Pacific's Rosemont Hall in Montreal in 1943.

The fonds consists mainly of recordings of radio broadcasts featuring musical performances by Gordie Fleming and his group. Most were broadcast on Radio-Canada and CBC on Lower Canada Swing, Saturday Set, Les joyeux troubadours, Jazz en liberté and Les fantaisistes.

The fonds documents the personal and professional life of Don Bell, his work as a magazine journalist and used and rare book dealer and many features of life in Montreal and elsewhere during his working life.

It includes personal and family documents, correspondence, manuscripts, research materials, notebooks, and photographs.

The fonds consists primarily of slides on liturgical art in Quebec. It includes slides on the production of films and books on art.

The documents relate to the artistic career of Kina Reusch and her participation in Corridart dans la rue Sherbrooke and the subsequent legal proceedings known as L'Affaire Corridart.

Included are photographs (slides,prints and negatives), textual documents including articles, clippings, and personal records, and a video of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program "Kina Reusch: the New Penelope". The fonds includes a 151-page brief (Mémoire des appellants) for the Corridart hearings at the Appeal Court and a copy of the July-August 1976 issue of ArtsCanada which has a feature on Corridart.

The Ann Charney fonds provides information on Ann Charney’s journalistic and literary career as well as her personal life. It documents both Charney's fiction and non-fiction writings from the 1960s until 2009, and provides insight into the process of publishing from the author’s point of view. The fonds also includes information on the Blue Metropolis foundation, a not-for-profit organization located in Montreal, Quebec, responsible for the annual Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival. Finally, the fonds provides a glimpse into the life of Jewish emigrants. It also contains information about Canadian and international artists working during the second half of the 20th century.

The fonds contains drafts and final versions of novels and short stories written by Ann Charney; personal and professional correspondence; newspaper articles; publicity material; meeting minutes; agreements; financial documents; photographs; reports; and magazines, among other documents.

The fonds includes Dr. Saccá's Concordia University Board of Governors meeting files from February 1995 to April 2000. The fonds includes materials related to Dr. Saccá's activities as principal of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and her participation in Concordia University's organizational review.

The fonds documents Yves Charbonneau's musical career until 1975 on the one hand, and his photographic exploitations during the 1980s on the other hand. It gives an insight into the organization of the Quatuor du Jazz libre du Québec (1967-1975), the Val-David Artistic Colony (1970), the Ferme du Petit Québec libre (1970-1973) and l'Amorce (1972-1974), while highlighting the political dimension of these jazz-related initiatives.

The fonds also contains political newspapers collected by Yves Charbonneau during the 1970s, as well as photographs related to Charbonneau’s visual arts studies, including portraits, landscape photography, and still-lifes.

The fonds provides information on the history, structure, aims, and activities of Freemasonry and other secret organizations, with a particular focus on anglophone and francophone Freemasonry in Quebec.

The fonds includes correspondence, articles, transcripts of lectures, programs for ceremonies, minutes, membership lists, photographs, and other materials. Among the correspondence are original letters and manuscript notes dated 1913-1931 in which francophone Catholics report to the church hierarchy the names of suspected Freemasons. There are an original letter and a certificate of resignation from Freemasonry. The fonds includes a collection of objects.
