Karyn Bye, Captain of the Stingers Women's Hockey team in 1994-1995. She was inducted in the Concordia Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. She won a gold medal at the Winter Games in Nagano, Japan, where women's hockey made its Olympic debut. She was also a silver medalist at the Salt Lake City Games in 2002.
