Francine Pelletier was the invited lecturer for the 2015 Reader's Digest Lecture Series in Journalism which took place at Concordia's John Molson School of Business Building on March 27, 2015. The talk was titled, "Breaking the Silence 25 Years after École Polytechnique: Women, Violence and Media".
Jean Chrétien was the invited lecturer for this Henri Habib Lecture Series.

The New York Alumni chapter held a private party at Maman. The restaurant's owner, Benjamin Sormonte, BComm 05, shared his experience as an entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry in the Big Apple. Food was prepared by Michelin-starred chef Armand Arnal.

The Concordia University Alumni Association honoured alumni, faculty and friends for their loyalty and generosity to the community. Approximately 100 people attended and celebrated the seven honorees at the Alumni Recognition Awards Banquet, held at Montreal’s Sofitel Hotel on May 20.
