The 18th Annual Concordia Bowlathon event took place at the Laurentian Lanes bowling alley. The Concordia Bowlathon was created by the Association of Alumni of Sir George Williams in order to raise money for scholarships and bursaries.

Approximately seventy Concordia alumni gathered at the Minto Suite Hotel in Ottawa. President and Vice-Chancellor, Judith Woodsworth, updated attendees on recent donations to the University as well as provided updates on the physical development of both campuses.

On May 17, 2011, Concordia honoured a stellar group at the 20th Alumni Recognition Awards Banquet.

Two former ambassadors and a senator were among the 175 guests who came out to commemorate nine of the university community’s best and brightest at the 20th Alumni Recognition Awards Banquet, held at the Hyatt Regency Montreal.

Incoming first year Concordia students from the Boston area, and their parents, met at the home of Chapter President Vinu Srinivasan, MBA 2003 for a "bon voyage" celebration.

Approximately thirty Concordia alumni gathered on September 22 at the Fairmont Hotel (Battery Wharf), for a evening of wine tasting and networking. Jeffrey Davis spoke about his newly-published book, “The 24-Hour Turnarond”.

The Concordia University Alumni Association's Calgary Chapter gathered on November 1 at Craft Beer Market.

91 football fans gathered for a tailgate event in Calgary. Hosted by Concordia, McGill and HEC alumni, this annual event also welcomed guests from École Polytechnique and Acadia.
