This series documents David Clark’s professional activities as an instrumentalist; as a bandleader, arranger, and transcriber; and as a teacher.

This series consists of various musical scores and arrangements. It includes scores, sheet music, and song books, covering both classical music and jazz. Most of the scores are for saxophone or clarinet. In addition to published music, the series includes music arranged or transcribed by Clark.

The David Clark fonds provides insight into the career of musician David Clark in the second half of the 20th century. It documents Dave Clark’s professional activity as an instrumentalist, bandleader, arranger and transcriber; and as a teacher. The fonds also documents Dave Clark’s involvement in the Fossils Club of Montreal and serves to document some of the club's musical performances.

The fonds includes musical scores, sheet music, and song books, covering both classical music and jazz; scripts for plays; programs; sound recordings; plaques; and photographs. In addition to published music, the fonds includes music arranged or transcribed by Dave Clark and other musicians.

This series provides insight into the music scene in which David Clark participated.

This series consists of sound recordings of various bands and orchestras, including the Andrew Homzy Jazz orchestra; Clark’s cruise ship band; and the McGill Jazz Band, among others. It also includes the camp song used by the Green Acres day camp in Montreal, as well as a few photographs related to the recording of the song.
