The series illustrates Irving Layton’s literary work. It contains photocopies of various poems by Irving Layton, including The Incarnation, The bull calf, Cain, After Auschwitz, The Burning Bush, Post-Auschwitz Jew, The Black Huntsman, Song for Naomi, Love Letters, Rhine Boat Trip, and Catacombe dei Cappucini.
Series consists of records relating to payment and receipt of various taxes and bills. The material includes receipts from the City of Montreal’s Treasurer Office for City Dues, municipal receipts for Côte St- Louis, (now Mile End in Montreal), insurance payment receipts, payment for household furnishings, and heating bills.
Fonds consists of material accumulated and created by Derek Stanford about Christopher Fry. It also contains documents created by Christopher Fry. Materials in this fonds are primarily dated 1969-1970, though select documents are dated 1955.
Materials include correspondence, manuscripts, published essays and reviews, newspaper clippings, photographs, theater programs, and other ephemera documenting Stanford professional relationship with Fry and the British playwright’s work. Documents primarily concern Fry’s A Yard of Sun (1970) and his English translation of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt (1970). The fonds also contains limited material regarding A Sleep of Prisoners (1951). Documents also concern essays about the life and work of Christopher Fry written by Derek Stanford.

Collection is composed of letters from Cid Corman to Raymond Souster. The letters were written in France, Japan, and Italy and include poems and conversation about poets including Irving Layton, poetry, notes about the content of the publication Origins, information about poetry readings, and about the different locations Corman has visited.
