Concordia University and the Biennale de Montréal co-hosted an evening exclusively for the Concordia fine arts community to view the exhibit.

A Special general meeting of the Concordia University Alumni Association was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. The meeting was held for the purpose of approving the proposal to amalgamate with the Loyola Alumni Association and the Association of Alumni of Sir George Williams University.

The New York Alumni chapter held a private party at Maman. The restaurant's owner, Benjamin Sormonte, BComm 05, shared his experience as an entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry in the Big Apple. Food was prepared by Michelin-starred chef Armand Arnal.

Concordia University alumni gathered at Vibes Cafe in Amsterdam for the first alumni event in the Netherlands, an informal networking evening hosted by Claire Deslongchamp, Communications Director of the Québec Government Office in Brussels. The Delegate General of Québec in Brussels, Christos Sirros, was invited as a guest speaker.

The Concordia University Alumni Association hosted a meet and greet at Shelf Life Book, complete with smoked meat sandwiches, which was followed by the bookstore’s Montreal Night. Four former Montreal authors, including Susan Calder, BA 88, read from their work.

Canada’s Consul General for the Pacific Northwest, Denis Stevens, hosted Concordia alumni in Seattle’s Capitol Hill region.

The Annual Open House of the Ottawa Alumni Chapter took place at the Metropolitain Brasserie.
