The ADMINISTRATION sub-series includes records related to the role Chalk played in the Sir George Williams University and Concordia University, having been a member or in attendance of various committees: the Building Programme Co-ordinating Committee (BPCC), the Planning Committee of the Board of Governors or the Senate Library Committee, the Intra-University Committee, the Sir George Williams Association of University Teachers (SGWAUT) Council or the Sir George Williams Joint Committee on University Affairs (JCUA). The sub-series is also comprised of records related to the Perry Anderson case that lead to the Computer Centre protest of 1969 and its subsequent outcomes.

The CORRESPONDENCE sub-series consists of letters and postcards from peers, most notably David Koff, Helen Fein, Michael Dobkowski, Norman Cohn, Jack Nusan Porter, Barbara Harff and William Taylor.

The WRITINGS sub-series includes press clippings, promotional material, reviews and texts written by Frank Chalk and Jonassohn such as 'A History of Genocide' or 'Genocide: an Historical Overview' published in the 1990's.

The MONTREAL INSTITUTE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND GENOCIDE STUDIES sub-series is comprised of records testifying of Chalk's involvement in the institute he co-founded with Jonassohn: an annual report, records related to the Academic Advisory board of the institute, budgets, the management of the David J. The fonds documents Mark Abley’s career as a writer from 1972 to 2015 and his contribution to the Canadian literary culture. It reflects his work as journalist, especially for La Gazette, and his freelance writing in the fields of journalism, poetry, children’s books, editing, and non-fiction books. Furthermore, the fonds illustrates Abley’s various ways to give on his passion, be it through lectures, workshops, conferences, school visits or even religious services.
Finally, the fonds gives an insight into English literature from Quebec, especially poetry, dating from the 1970s to 2014, mainly through a collection of chapbooks and monographies, which are all signed by the authors. This collection is completed by several literary magazines and issues of Ogmios, the Journal of the Foundation for Endangered Languages.
The subjects of endangered languages and English as part of Quebec’s language culture have been repeatedly treated by Abley and can be found throughout the fonds.
The fonds also includes interviews that Abley conducted within the scope of his research with several English-speaking writers, such as Jane Goodall, Henry Kissinger, and others.

They include correspondence, press clippings, event brochures and transcriptions of radio interviews, materials related to the tragic events of August 24, 1992, the Concordia institutional marketing campaign of 1995 and Whittingham's work as an external consultant.

The CONFERENCE, SEMINARS, TALKS subseries is comprised of records related to presentations or workshops given by Whittingham to the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE), the Conférence des recteurs et principaux des universités du Québec (CREPUQ) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in between 1993 and 1994.

The subseries also includes technical reports on church organs in St-Paul-d'Abbotsford, Sherbooke, Dunham, St-Paul de Grand-Mère, St-Narcisse or Saint-Lambert, among others.

The RESEARCH ANDREFERENCE DOCUMENTATION subseries includes files with miscellaneous documentation on different subjects close to Jackson's expertise such as Music of New France, Auguste Fay (organ builder), and historical organs.

The fonds also includes promotional material related to the Orfeo of Claudio Monteverdi concert as well as the Liliane M. Stewart funeral that Jackson was a musical director of and some correspondence with the Organ Historical society (1989-1999) and the Studio de musique ancienne (1989-1999).

The fonds provides information on Thomas Waugh’s teaching activities with his contributions to the development of courses in Film Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies and on issues related to the HIV/AIDS pandemic at Concordia University.

The TEACHING subseries includes performance evaluations, workload reports and course evaluations, course materials and course outlines Thomas Waugh developed, most notably on HIV/AIDS in social sciences, natural sciences and in the media.

The ADMINISTRATION subseries is comprised of records related to Thomas Waugh's participation in the HIV/AIDS Advisory Committee (1993-1998), in the Faculty of Fine Arts Task Group on Canadian and Quebec Cultural Issues (1983-1984) and in the Working Group on Curriculum of the Status of Women Committee (1986-1987).

The CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, TALKS subseries includes records related to the attendance of Thomas Waugh to various conferences in Quebec and Ontario, most notably at the Representing AIDS: Crisis and Criticism Conference held at the University of Western Ontario where he made a presentation on the theme of 'Erotic self-images in the Gay Male AIDS Melodrama' in November 1988. The subseries also contains records related to his involvement in Concordia University's HIV/AIDS Lecture Series from 1993 to 2013 with correspondence, logistics files, media coverage and promotional material.

The RESEARCH AND REFERENCE DOCUMENTATION subseries is comprised of some writings and notes as well as reference documentation on HIV/AIDS related to women and First Nations Peoples, among other subjects.

The fonds also includes records related to Thomas Waugh's input as the editor of the moving images section of the GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies between 2003 and 2006.

The fonds illustrates the development of articule Gallery from its beginnings to the present as an active part of the Montreal art scene. It provides information on the administration, finances, and programming of the gallery. The fonds gives a vivid picture of articule’s events and exhibitions throughout the years, including documentation concerning events organized in collaboration with partners, as there is Viva! Art Action, the Mois de la photographie, and other Montreal-wide events. The fonds contains biographical information on a significant number of Canadian and international artists, and on organizations operating in the Quebec art scene. It includes several folders related to the Société du 5 avril, and the RCAAQ [Regroupement des centres d’artistes autogérés du Québec].
