The collection contains two sound recordings and 54 photographs. A number of the photographs showcase jazz clubs in Montreal, including the Café Esquire and El Morocco. Other images show Oscar Peterson in concert, while many depict scenes from Dorothy Harper's life in Montreal in the mid-1940s.

Significantly, a number of photographs were taken inside jazz clubs in Montreal, including Café Esquire and El Morocco. Three photographs depict Oscar Peterson in concert.
