Sans titreThe fonds provides information on Marjorie Goodfellow's activities as a staff members of the Sir George Williams University Library but mostly as an active member of Alliance Québec (she was Vice-President in 1985).
It includes reports, publications, minutes of meetings, constitution records, policies, press clippings and some correspondence related to Alliance Québec.
A composite photograph of the Sir George Williams University Library staff in 1973 can also be found in the fonds.
Sans titreThe fonds provides information on the professional life of Canadian artist Bruce Le Dain.
It is comprised of journals held more or less regularly by Le Dain between 1963 and 1999. They include records of personal accounting and painting income summaries as well as some correspondence and press clippings.
The CORRESPONDENCE subseries includes letters exchanged with fellow Canadian artist John Little between 1974 and 1992. It also includes a binder of miscellaneous correspondence and memorabilia as well as some reference documentation on the subject of art.
The DISTINCTIONS subseries includes some correspondence and framed honours granted to Le Dain: an Honorary Life Membership to the Arts Club of Montreal in 1994 as well as a recognition from the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) for his contribution in the arts of painting in 1985.
The SLIDES subseries is comprised of an extensive collection of annotated slides of many of Le Dain's paintings done between 1972 and 1999.
The fonds also includes a souvenir photo album of Le Dain's first one-man exhibition held at the Klinkhoff Gallery in 1972 and a wooden box custom-made by Le Dain, a box he used to store his tools when he was painting.

The fonds consists mainly of Memoirs of Holocaust Survivors in Canada, panels of the David J. Azrieli Holocaust Collection used in the Concordia University Libraries Exhibition, correspondence with scholars specialized in genocide, other documents related to the Will to Intervene Project (W2I) and published papers.
Sans titreThe fonds provides information on Henry Beissel's professional life as a poet, playwright, essayist, editor and teacher. It is first comprised of records related to his teaching, including correspondence, evaluations administrative files, student works, meeting minutes and course notes. It also contains records related to his prolific writing of poetry, theater and essays: many annotated versions of manuscripts, notebooks and some correspondence with publishers. The translation notes and manuscripts found in the fonds testify of Beissel's work as a translator of many works of German, Spanish and Chinese language authors.
Are also comprised are records related to the many conferences, book tours and research trips around the world Beissel took part in: text for presentations, audio recordings, some correspondence and promotional material (posters, prospectus). His commitment to humanism and active involvement with his community is shown through more correspondence and meeting documents.
An extensive correspondence testifying of the ties he established with peers and other artists, professors, humanists is also included. The press clippings, reviews and other pieces of media coverage are proofs of Beissel's success and recognition, echoed with the distinctions he received throughout his career.
Finally, the fonds includes records related to Beissel's private life: journal, travel diaries as well as personal correspondence provide a peek into his family life. The records related to his education (course notes, syllabi and early writings) hint at a rich career in the making.

The Negro Community Centre/Charles H. Este Cultural Centre fonds contains records relating to the operation of the Negro Community Centre/Charles H. Este Cultural Centre. It contains textual records and other materials documenting the mission; structure; administration; building and facilities; and programs and services offered at the Centre, dating from its founding in the late 1920s until it ceased its operations. The fonds also contains materials dating to after the closure of the Centre.
The fonds documents the history of the Negro Community Centre/Charles H. Este Cultural Centre, its role in Little Burgundy and the greater Montreal area, and its relationships to other organizations, including but not limited to the Coloured Women's Club of Montreal; Union United Church; Red Feather Services; Federated Appeal of Greater Montreal; and Centraide. Sans titreThe fonds consists of some administrative records of the SGWU Department of English and the Concordia Department of English between 1971 and 2005. It also consists of some SGWU Department of English records related to student academic activities in the 1940s and to public readings and lectures, and a few interviews, produced between 1966 and 1972.
The fonds mainly includes minutes of departmental meetings and some course timetables. It also includes some student papers in bound volumes and 63 sound recordings (80 audio reels) mainly composed of poetry readings (see the Concordia SpokenWeb project which uses this material) but also a few lectures given at SGWU. There are also loose typed sheets describing some of the SGWU poetry readings.
