The PROFESSIONAL LIFE series includes material related to Stress, the Official Journal of the International Institute of Stress and its Affiliates Szporer edited in the beginning of the 1980's, some of films he directed as well as conferences and festivals he attended or actively took part in. The DISTINCTIONS sub-series is comprised of records related to the Jacqueline Lemieux Prize and the Distinguished Teaching Award he received in 2010 and 2016, respectively. The TEACHING sub-series contains course outlines, records related to the CUPFA grants Szporer received throughout the years, some correspondence, a working copy of the Concordia University Contemporary Dance Department Assessment Report he produced in 2001 as well as some course materials, including slides on the history of modern dance as well as the works of dancers: Doris Humphrey, Isadora Duncan, Loie Fuller, Maud Allen, Martha Graham, Ruth St. Denis, and Twyla Tharp among others. Bruce Le Dain fonds

The fonds provides information on the professional life of Canadian artist Bruce Le Dain.

It is comprised of journals held more or less regularly by Le Dain between 1963 and 1999. They include records of personal accounting and painting income summaries as well as some correspondence and press clippings.

The CORRESPONDENCE subseries includes letters exchanged with fellow Canadian artist John Little between 1974 and 1992. It also includes a binder of miscellaneous correspondence and memorabilia as well as some reference documentation on the subject of art.

The DISTINCTIONS subseries includes framed honours granted to Le Dain: an Honorary Life Membership to the Arts Club of Montreal in 1994 as well as a recognition from the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) for his contribution in the arts of painting in 1985.

The fonds also includes a wooden box custom-made by Le Dain, a box he used to store his tools when he was painting.

The fonds covers the evolution of Lucien Desmarais' career from its beginnings at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts until his death in 1988, including his activities in theatre and his travels. The fonds also reveals his diverse interests in theatre, entertainment, and general culture. The fonds is based on the professional activities of Lucien Desmarais, tisserand concepteur (weaver-designer) and gives information on his creations for high fashion and interior decoration and the annual exhibitions in which he participated. The fonds also gives information on his involvement in numerous associations and cultural organizations as founder, director, and jury member. The fonds gives information on his teaching activities and the courses he gave at various colleges, as well as his speeches.

The fonds provides information on the Irish community of Montreal in the 19th and early 20th century, and its view of Ireland and Irish culture. Some documents relate to the United Irish Societies (U.I.S.) of Montreal and the Saint Patrick’s Society of Montreal, as well as to Thomas d’Arcy McGee and John Loye, whereas others are standing in connection to James McAran, a Montreal merchant. The fonds also gives information on the Irish Question and reactions to it in Canada, through an album of newspaper clippings collected by James Albert Whittaker during 1920 to 1923, augmented by correspondence and small brochures from the same time period.

The fonds consists of four albums and several separate documents. The albums contain collections of greeting cards, Irish songs and poetry, family photographs, and newspaper clippings on the Irish Question. Furthermore, the fonds includes without limitations newspapers, sheet music, brochures, correspondence, a map of Ireland, drawings (including original artwork for the United Irish Societies of Montreal logo), and the text of an address on Irish-Canadian history given at the St. Patrick's Society Ball in 1872 by John O'Farrell, president of the Hibernian Benevolent Society of Quebec.

The collection provides visual information on World War II. The pictures were taken in Europe, Japan, China, the Philippines, and the Arctic. The collection also includes National Film Board photojournalism on uranium mining for nuclear power in Canada, and other topics.

The collection consists of pictures, many of them produced under the auspices of the War Records Office of International News Agencies. The Collection contains news service photographs as well as photographs from the Canadian Armed Forces. Also included are original identifying captions that accompanied their transmission by news media wire services. Most of the photographers remain unidentified. They made their photographs while on assignment for international news agencies or the War Records Office for distribution to the news media.

The collection includes swizzle sticks and other memorabilia from Montreal jazz night clubs such as Rockhead's Paradise, the Rainbow Bar Café, and Dinty Moore's. It also contains sound recordings, photographs of Rockhead's Paradise and owner Rufus Rockhead, sheet music, videotape copies of televisions shows on jazz musicians Oliver Jones, Paul Bley, and Oscar Peterson, and a copy of the book Montreal Confidential by Al Palmer.

The Brian McKenna fonds provides an insight in Brian McKennas career and accomplishments as journalist, author, filmmaker, and producer, from McKenna’s time as a reporter for the Loyola News in the 1960s to his latest works of independent filmmaking. Further, the fond is a valuable source for detailed background information on many events and personages of the twentieth century.
The fonds documents Brian McKenna’s work on various films, covering documentaries that he produced for the CBC, and especially for The Fifth Estate, as well as independent productions, and even film proposals that finally never had been produced.
As such, the fonds’ content spans from the 13-minute documentary Thomas D’Arcy McGee, McKenna’s first film that he wrote and directed for the CBC in 1973, to his later works as an independent filmmaker, as Newfoundland at Armageddon, produced in 2016.
The fonds also gives an overview of McKenna’s writings. It covers his articles related to Expo ‘67 in Montreal, his time as parliamentary correspondent in Ottawa, as well as his book on Montreal mayor Jean Drapeau, published in 1981.

The collection consists of materials assembled by the plaintiffs' lawyers and deposited with the Quebec Superior Court in connection with the Corridart case. The collection documents the conception and execution of Corridart, as well as its abrupt dismantling and the legal proceedings that followed. There are materials related to the careers of the artists who participated in the court case, and information about related legal precedents.

The collection includes an inventory by Melvin Charney of the sites along Sherbrooke Street, explaining the conception of Corridart as a rue-musée qu'on visite à pied. There is also a comprehensive set of photographs of Corridart, documenting the common elements (the continuous assemblage), as well as the works exhibited along Sherbrooke Street, the panels of text, and the sites of activities. These photographs trace the entire Corridart route from east to west. There are photographs documenting the dismantling. Others show impounded works and several illustrate damage to works. The collection includes project proposals, planning documents, contracts between artists and COJO, correspondence, articles from legal journals, reports of meetings, blueprints, and sketches. There are also artists' curricula vitae, photographs, brochures, and other documents related to the artists' careers that were assembled to establish their status as professional artists.
