Henry Beissel interviews various students from the University of Havana. Recorded on the University of Havana campus. On side B Henry Beissel is invited to an English class at the University of Havana and responses to questions posed by students. Beissel notes that most of his responses during the English class were not recorded "due to lack of tape". The final part of the tape is an interview with Dr. Denis Lazure a psychiatrist from Ste. Justine Hospital in Montreal. Dr. Lazure was attending the Cultural Congress of Havana which took place January 4-11, 1968.

The fonds also contains materials dating to after the closure of the Centre.
The fonds documents the history of the Negro Community Centre/Charles H. Este Cultural Centre, its role in Little Burgundy and the greater Montreal area, and its relationships to other organizations, including but not limited to the Coloured Women's Club of Montreal; Union United Church; Red Feather Services; Federated Appeal of Greater Montreal; and Centraide.
