Le matériel est constitué de 31 lettres entre Russell Thornton et Irving Layton, dans lesquelles Layton offre des conseils et des encouragements au jeune poète. The fonds provides information on union activity. It gives complete information on a 1973 strike of members of the Sir George Williams University library staff. It also provides information on Nancy Marrelli's service as director of the Concordia University Archives, primarily long-service awards.

The fonds consists of minutes of meetings of negotiation, correspondence, clippings, copies of a collective agreement, publicity and pamphlets, a mailing list, and long service awards from Concordia University.

The fonds consists of Russell Breen’s personal records (mainly correspondence with individuals and organizations) between 1970 and 1991 and some administrative documents related to Saint-Patrick Basilica. The fonds also includes texts of speeches, homilies, and sermons delivered by Russell Breen, between 1973 and 1993.

Il y a peu de documentation disponible sur les activités de Véhicule Art entre les années 1976 et 1982. Durant cette période la galerie dut affronter des difficultés d'ordre administratif et financier. Un changement fréquent des membres et une insuffisance de sources de financement contribuèrent à affaiblir la gestion de la galerie et de ses activités. La documentation de ses dernières années est très pauvre.

L'ordre original des documents reflétait assez fidèlement l'organisation interne de cette galerie. Ainsi les documents datant de 1972 à 1975, étaient relativement bien organisés, ne demandant aucun classement alors que ceux couvrant la période 1976-1982 étaient rares et nécessitaient une réorganisation complète.
