La collection porte sur le jazz à Montréal de 1930 à 1960. Cette collection est un complément aux autres fonds et collections d'archives conservés au Service des archives de l'Université Concordia.

La collection comprend des fouets à coquetel et d'autres souvenirs du Rockhead's Paradise, du Rainbow Bar Café et du Dinty Moore's. Il contient également des documents sonores, des photographies de Rockhead's Paradise et de son propriétaire Rufus Rockhead, des partitions musicales, des copies sur vidéocassette des émissions télévisuelles portant sur les musiciens Oliver Jones, Paul Bley et Oscar Peterson et une copie du livre d'Al Palmer intitulé Montreal Confidential.

Le fonds contient une photographie datant de 1896, de la chorale de l'église Saint-Patrick de Montréal, ainsi que le menu d'un banquet organise par la St. Ann’s Young Men’s Society Montreal en 1901.

La collection est composée de documents rassemblés par les avocats des plaignants et déposés à la Cour supérieure du Québec, liés à l'affaire Corridart. La collection documente la conception et l'installation de Corridart, ainsi que son démantèlement rapide et les poursuites légales qui s'en suivirent. Il y a des documents liés à la carrière des artistes qui participèrent au procès et de l'information sur les précédents légaux qui y sont liés.

La collection inclut un inventaire fait par Melvin Charney des sites le long de la rue Sherbrooke, expliquant la conception de Corridart en une rue-musée qu'on visite à pied. Il y a aussi une série complète de photographies de Corridart, documentant les éléments communs (l'assemblage continu) ainsi que les oeuvres exposées le long de la rue Sherbrooke, les panneaux de texte et les sites d'activités. Ces photographies retracent la route complète de Corridart d'est en ouest. Il y a aussi des photographies documentant le démantèlement. D'autres montrent des oeuvres à la fourrière et plusieurs illustrent les dommages qu'elles ont subis. La collection inclut des propositions de projet, des documents de planification, des contrats entre les artistes et le COJO, de la correspondance, des articles de périodiques juridiques, des rapports de réunions, des plans et des esquisses. Il y a aussi des curriculum vitae d'artistes, des photographies, des brochures et d'autres documents liés à la carrière des artistes qui furent assemblés afin d'établir leur statut d'artistes professionnels.

Le fonds est constitué de matériel créé et accumulé par René Balcer dans le cadre de son travail de réalisateur et directeur de série. Le fonds se compose principalement d'ébauches et de versions finales de scripts, de « beat-sheets », de normes de diffusion, d'horaires, de documents de recherche et de listes d'acteurs et d'équipes des séries télévisée « New York, police judiciaire », « La Loi et l'ordre : NY section criminelle », et « Los Angeles, police judiciaire » (version anglaise), et du film Hopewell. Les autres scripts inclus sont l’adaptation française de « La Loi et l'ordre : NY section criminelle », Paris: Section Criminelle, le « Movie of the Week » et des scripts télévisés dont The Ruth Snyder Story, et Hudson Valley. De plus, le fonds comprend des documents couvrant des projets individuels, des rapports sur les coûts et les frais de déplacement, divers prix et certificats obtenus par Balcer pour ses services à l'industrie de la télévision, des ordres du jour, des publications, des articles, des manuscrits et du matériel de cours. The fonds consists mainly of correspondence received by Sir William Hales Hingston and a few letters received by Mrs. Hingston and their sons William, Donald, and Harold.

There are also photographs, press clippings, brochures, invitations, manuscripts of Sir William's writings, business cards, maps and objects. The fonds includes a scrapbook of press clippings relating to Sir William Hingston's political and professional life, an official document appointing him to the Ottawa Improvement Commission in 1902, the original letters patent related to Sir William's knighthood, and a circa 1889 photograph of Sir William. Also included is an album containing 92 wedding and travel photographs of the Hingston family.

Collection consists of 1278 audio recordings of musical performances by Concordia students, faculty and guests. They were recorded at the Loyola Chapel and at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall between 1986 and 2005. Most are in audio cassette format with the latest ones on compact disc.

The fonds provides information on the studies Kenneth E. Norris did at McGill for his master's degree.

The fonds consists of a copy of his master's thesis: Characteristics and Abilities of Evening High School Students (1931).

The fonds mainly provides visual information on some Sir George Williams College social and cultural activities at the beginning of the 1940s. For instance, there are images of the preview performance of the March 1942 Giorgantics (the SGW Annual musical review), held in Brownsburg (now Brownsburg-Chatham) in the Laurentians area. There are also photos of friends, a few in Ste. Agathe, and photos in Saint-Hubert and Dorval airports. The photos subjects include SGW Georgiantics, SGW Winter carnival, SGW sports; SGW students and Staff, as well as aircrafts and radio equipment.

The fonds provides information on The Georgian and the Georgiantics during the late 1930s and 1940s, and the Alumni Association during the 1960s and 1970s.

The fonds consists of clippings, event programs, lists of participants, working rules, correspondence, and photographs of Georgiantics scenes and performers and of alumni events.

The fonds gives information on the history and activities of the department and on contemporary dance in Montreal as well.
The fonds mainly includes newspaper clippings, leaflets, show programs, and posters from 1978-1994 and 2003-2007. The fonds also includes video recordings of four lectures given in 2013, parts of the Mover Over Lecture Series. The lecturers were Marie-Hélène Falcon, Marten Spangberg, Sarah Chase, and Guy Cools.

The fonds provides information on the history, structure, aims, and activities of Freemasonry and other secret organizations, with a particular focus on anglophone and francophone Freemasonry in Quebec.

The fonds includes correspondence, articles, transcripts of lectures, programs for ceremonies, minutes, membership lists, photographs, and other materials. Among the correspondence are original letters and manuscript notes dated 1913-1931 in which francophone Catholics report to the church hierarchy the names of suspected Freemasons. There are an original letter and a certificate of resignation from Freemasonry. The fonds includes a collection of objects. The fonds is reflective of Hall’s forty-year career as a counselor, instructor, and administrator at Sir George Williams University in Montreal, Quebec and leader in the field of Canadian education. Materials in this fonds also highlight Hall’s life-long work with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Montreal, his commitment to the growth of Sir George, his role as a respected public figure, his participation in the scientific and religious communities of Montreal, and his diverse personal interests including astronomy, biology, and the history of the Eastern Townships.

The fonds primarily consists of Hall’s teaching notes and course outlines, research, correspondence, his drafts of "The Georgian Spirit: The Story of Sir George Williams University," typed addresses and presentation notes, and conference materials, as well as personal documents such as notebooks, educational records, and gifts. Also included are awards, diplomas and certificates, photographic material, memorabilia, and materials collected and used by Hall such as reports, publications, manuscripts, and press clippings.

The Gerald Clark fonds contains documents pertaining to the Gerald Cohen's professional life and documents current events occuring in the period that he was active as a newspaper correspondent.

The fonds documents the personal and professional life of Don Bell, his work as a magazine journalist and used and rare book dealer and many features of life in Montreal and elsewhere during his working life.

It includes personal and family documents, correspondence, manuscripts, research materials, notebooks, and photographs.

The fonds provides information on Robert A. Fraser's activities on various committees and external bodies and on his classes.

The fonds provides information from Thompson's writing projects on the history of Scouting, and on humanism, as well as his participation in World War I.

The fonds consists of memorabilia of Claude W. Thompson's and his brother's participation in World War I. It includes correspondence, press clippings, and a copy of a paper he wrote on Canadian author and historian William Wood (1864-1947). There is also a review of William Wood's book The Fight for Canada, and a copy of the book.

The fonds includes Dr. Saccá's Concordia University Board of Governors meeting files from February 1995 to April 2000. The files include annotated agendas, handwritten notes, minutes, meeting documents, and copies of notes regarding the meetings that were sent to Fine Arts Department faculty members. The fonds includes materials related to Dr. Saccá's activities as principal of the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and her participation in Concordia University's organizational review.

The fonds provides information on sports at Loyola College and McGill University, real-estate transactions in Montreal, and Canadian history.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook of press clippings documenting student sports activities at Loyola College; the clippings were gathered by John O'Neill Gallery while he was a student. Also included are early 20th-century legal documents, primarily related to real estate transactions conducted by the O'Neill / Gallery families; nine late 19th- / early 20th-century books on Montreal and Canadian history; a 1904 book entitled Irish Literature, and a photograph of the 1919 McGill University rugby team .

The fonds provides information on Vic Vogel's musical career. The fonds contains original scores for music composed and arranged by Vic Vogel from the mid-1960s to 2006. Among many other scores, it includes Vogel’s composition for the 1976 Montreal Olympics. It also contains scores by other composers, as well as correspondence, sound recordings, moving images, contracts, financial documents, magazines and other publications, photographs, posters, and newspaper clippings.
