Mainly consists of archival materials documenting the actions and activities of the British colonial and the post-colonial governments in Kenya between the late 1880s through the early 1960s. 139 microfilm reels contain copies of thousands of government records, including annual and quarterly reports, intelligence reports, correspondence, secretariat circulars, and record books, amongst others. These once confidential records serve to document the economic, social, religious, and political upheavals in Kenya in the twentieth century leading to its independence from the United Kingdom in 1963.

The Collection is divided into 6 series, which were assigned to the documents when they were first microfilmed by Syracuse University:

The fonds provides information on Kurt Jonassohn's teaching career as a professor at Sir George Williams University and Concordia University as well as a researcher in the field of the history and sociology of genocides.

The ADMINISTRATION subseries includes records related to Jonassohn's involvement in the Association of University Teachers Planning Committee (SGWAUT) and the Student's Undergraduate Society. It is comprised of meeting minutes, correspondence, notes and a honorary degree nomination form for Norman Cohn.
The TEACHING subseries consists of teaching material, course outlines, course notes, readings lists as well as some promotional material (posters and brochures) related to the Summer Session in Sociology Project held at Sir George Williams University in the 1960's and 1970's.
The CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, TALKS subseries includes speaking notes, programs and correspondence related to the many conferences, symposiums and talks Jonassohn's took part in, often in collaboration with fellow Frank Chalk, such as 'Culture, Persecution, Perpetrator Intent and Their Effects on the Human Rights Agenda' presented to the Annual Meeting of the Eastern Anthropological Association in 1984 or 'Conceptualizations of Genocide and Ethnocide' presented at Famine Ukraine 1933 Symposium held in Montreal, in August 1983.
The WRITINGS subseries is comprised of some correspondence and texts and written by Jonassohn or in collaboration with Frank Chalk such as 'A Typology of Genocide and Some Implications for the Human Rights Agenda' in 1984.
The MONTREAL INSTITUTE FOR GENOCIDE STUDIES subseries includes records related to the development of the Audio-visual Collection and the Azrieli Collection of the institute as well as 'Jewish Resistance During the Holocaust', a lecture by Frank Chalk from 1995.
The CORRESPONDENCE subseries consists of communications exchanged with organizations such as the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Centre for Comparative Genocide Studies and with other scholars, most notably Helen Fein, Jack Porter and Norman Cohn.
The RESEARCH AND REFERENCE DOCUMENTATION subseries is comprised of articles, papers, reports and press clippings on subjects close to history and sociology of genocides: the holocaust, the Armenian people, ethnic minorities, history revisionism and gypsy communities name a few.

Le fonds Bellelle Guerin documente la vie et l'œuvre de la famille Guerin. Les documents contenus dans le fonds se rapportent principalement aux carrières de John Edmund Guerin et de Bellelle Guerin, mais contient également des documents concernant d'autres membres de la famille Guerin. Deux albums documentent la carrière politique de John Edmund Guerin en tant que maire de Montréal depuis son élection en 1910 jusqu'en 1912. Ces albums contiennent également des documents concernant des événements importants survenus au cours de son mandat, notamment le Congrès eucharistique international, les visites d'Earl Grey et du duc et de la duchesse de Connaught, et la mort du roi Édouard VII, entre autres. Un troisième album contient des informations relatives à l'élection de 1917 et à la Ligue des femmes catholiques du Canada. Certains documents sont également liés à Thomas ou Mary Carroll Guerin. Le quatrième album contient des coupures d'articles de journaux, dont la plupart ont été écrits par Thomas Guérin, le père de Bellelle. Ces articles portent sur le travail de Thomas Guerin en tant qu'ingénieur civil à Montréal dans les années 1870 et 1880 et documentent un certain nombre de ses préoccupations, notamment les problèmes d'égouts et les inondations à Montréal.

The Underground Newspaper Collection is comprised of 178 copies of underground, alternative newspapers, newsletters, and journals, mostly published in Canada and the United States. These publications discuss both local and international issues of interest to the communities responsible for their creation. Among many other topics, the following subjects are represented throughout this collection: Vietnam war, defections, and the anti-war movement; anti-establishment and counterculture movements; Black power; poverty; socialism; music, art, and literature; and environmentalism.

The fonds mainly contains general ledgers (1950-1974), financial statements (1916-1974), and various administrative records relating to budget, investment, insurance and payroll. There are also files relating to college properties, such as accounting records for the construction of the Administration building in the 1920s and file copies of annual reports (1898-1929) to Quebec government which give detailed statistical information for the first years of Loyola.
