The fonds provides information on Vic Vogel's musical career. The fonds contains original scores for music composed and arranged by Vic Vogel from the mid-1960s to 2006. Among many other scores, it includes Vogel’s composition for the 1976 Montreal Olympics. It also contains scores by other composers, as well as correspondence, sound recordings, moving images, contracts, financial documents, magazines and other publications, photographs, posters, and newspaper clippings.

The fonds consists of photographs which recall the period during the 1940s when Tina Brereton danced in shows to the accompaniment of jazz music at Café St-Michel in Montreal.

The Johnny Reno fonds consists of two photographs of Percy Ferguson's Victory Serenadors, including Oscar Peterson, at Canadian Pacific's Rosemont Hall in Montreal in 1943.

The fonds provides mainly information on Dr. Rose Sheinin’s research and teaching activities at the University of Toronto and on her career as a university administrator at Concordia University.

The collection held by Concordia Records Management and Archives provides information on an important collection of ethnographical and archeological objects, mainly from the Cooper Inuits of Coronation Gulf, that Captain Joseph F. Bernard had gathered between 1916 and 1920. The assemblage was known as the Bernard Arctic Collection, but also as Bernard Eskimo Collection, Bernard Collection, or Bernard Inuit Collection. In 1921, Captain Bernard loaned his collection to Loyola College. He donated it in 1924 for a proposed College museum. The museum never materialized, and in 1947 Loyola College donated part of the collection to the Arctic Institute of North America in Montreal (the Institute moved to Calgary in 1976) and part to Cambridge University’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Other parts of the Bernard Arctic Collection were donated in 1991 to the Canadian Museum of Civilization (now the Canadian Museum of History) and in 1993 to Loyola High School.

It documents both Charney's fiction and non-fiction writings from the 1960s until 2009, and provides insight into the process of publishing from the author’s point of view. The fonds also includes information on the Blue Metropolis foundation, a not-for-profit organization located in Montreal, Quebec, responsible for the annual Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival. Finally, the fonds provides a glimpse into the life of Jewish emigrants. It also contains information about Canadian and international artists working during the second half of the 20th century.
