Samuel H. Schecter, a Montreal entrepreneur and benefactor of this university at the official opening of the Weissman Gallery in the Henry F. Hall Building. Schecter established a fund to collect contemporary art, which later resulted in the outstanding Sir George Williams University Collection of Canadian Art. Model of the Jesuit Fathers' residence at Loyola College. The building has 7 stories and 52 single rooms. A dining room, a recreation room and a sundeck are located at the top floor. Two elevators serve the building. A TV room, an exercise room, a music room, a 2 car garage and an outside parking complete the services planned in the construction of the building.
Percy Weissman, Montreal industrialist, whose donation allowed the construction of an additional art gallery facilities at SGW University. The new art gallery located on the mezzanine of the Henry F. Hall Building, bears his name.
