The fonds is reflective of Hall’s forty-year career as a counselor, instructor, and administrator at Sir George Williams University in Montreal, Quebec and leader in the field of Canadian education. Materials in this fonds also highlight Hall’s life-long work with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Montreal, his commitment to the growth of Sir George, his role as a respected public figure, his participation in the scientific and religious communities of Montreal, and his diverse personal interests including astronomy, biology, and the history of the Eastern Townships.
The fonds primarily consists of Hall’s teaching notes and course outlines, research, correspondence, his drafts of "The Georgian Spirit: The Story of Sir George Williams University," typed addresses and presentation notes, and conference materials, as well as personal documents such as notebooks, educational records, and gifts. Also included are awards, diplomas and certificates, photographic material, memorabilia, and materials collected and used by Hall such as reports, publications, manuscripts, and press clippings.

The fonds documents the activities including the intra-mural and varsity programs of the Loyola College Department of Athletics from 1901 until 1975.
It contains team contracts, rosters, programs, schedules, reports, press clippings, films of games, objects, photographs, etc. It also contains files related to the introduction of the program in Bio-Physical Education which was initiated by the Department of Athletics and its director, Ed Enos.

Fonds consists of a record of the research Taras Grescoe conducted during the process of writing his books Sacré Blues, The Devil's Picnic, and The End of Elsewhere. They document Quebec Society, global tourism, and the prohibited food and substance business.
The records include sound recordings and transcripts of interviews, research materials, drafts of book chapters and articles, travel note books, and correspondence.

The collection documents the events which occurred in 1987 and 1988 in the Overdale neighbourhood. It witnesses to the efforts made not only by the local residents but also architects, planners, and others to influence the City of Montreal to avoid demolishing historic buildings and established neighborhoods, and to preserve the city’s built heritage.
The collection includes photographs, moving images, sound recordings, press releases, clippings, meeting notices, correspondence, reports, newsletters and statements on the Overdale resistance prepared by former residents.

La collection documente la conception et l'installation de Corridart, ainsi que son démantèlement rapide et les poursuites légales qui s'en suivirent. Il y a des documents liés à la carrière des artistes qui participèrent au procès et de l'information sur les précédents légaux qui y sont liés.
La collection inclut un inventaire fait par Melvin Charney des sites le long de la rue Sherbrooke, expliquant la conception de Corridart en une rue-musée qu'on visite à pied. Il y a aussi une série complète de photographies de Corridart, documentant les éléments communs (l'assemblage continu) ainsi que les oeuvres exposées le long de la rue Sherbrooke, les panneaux de texte et les sites d'activités. Ces photographies retracent la route complète de Corridart d'est en ouest. Il y a aussi des photographies documentant le démantèlement. D'autres montrent des oeuvres à la fourrière et plusieurs illustrent les dommages qu'elles ont subis. La collection inclut des propositions de projet, des documents de planification, des contrats entre les artistes et le COJO, de la correspondance, des articles de périodiques juridiques, des rapports de réunions, des plans et des esquisses. Il y a aussi des curriculum vitae d'artistes, des photographies, des brochures et d'autres documents liés à la carrière des artistes qui furent assemblés afin d'établir leur statut d'artistes professionnels.

Il comprend principalement des dossiers thématiques sur les gens et les evénements ayant servi pour des reportages et des chroniques policières. On y retrouve aussi des notes, des documents judiciaires, des coupures de presse, des programmes, des brochures et des photographies.

Il documente également la carrière des groupes avec lesquels Myron Sutton jouait et ceux qu'il dirigeait incluant les Royal Ambassadors et les Canadian Ambassadors, en plus de porter sur la scène musicale du jazz et sur la vie nocturne de Montréal au cours des années 1930.
Le fonds comprend des documents sonores, un spicilège contenant de la correspondance, des contrats, des programmes, des coupures de presse et des photographies.
