Among the correspondence are original letters and manuscript notes dated 1913-1931 in which francophone Catholics report to the church hierarchy the names of suspected Freemasons. There are an original letter and a certificate of resignation from Freemasonry. The fonds includes a collection of objects. The fonds mainly documents the financial management of Loyola College from the 1920s to 1974. There are also files on properties and physical resources management. The fonds is mainly composed of the records of Mr. Ferrari’s office, as Comptroller (1961-1968) and as Vice-President, Administration (1968-1974), and the records of the Loyola Bursar and Procurator (Treasurer).

The fonds mainly contains general ledgers (1950-1974), financial statements (1916-1974), and various administrative records relating to budget, investment, insurance and payroll. There are also files relating to college properties, such as accounting records for the construction of the Administration building in the 1920s and file copies of annual reports (1898-1929) to Quebec government which give detailed statistical information for the first years of Loyola.

The fonds documents Mark Abley’s career as a writer from 1972 to 2015 and his contribution to the Canadian literary culture. It reflects his work as journalist, especially for La Gazette, and his freelance writing in the fields of journalism, poetry, children’s books, editing, and non-fiction books. Furthermore, the fonds illustrates Abley’s various ways to give on his passion, be it through lectures, workshops, conferences, school visits or even religious services.
Finally, the fonds gives an insight into English literature from Quebec, especially poetry, dating from the 1970s to 2014, mainly through a collection of chapbooks and monographies, which are all signed by the authors. This collection is completed by several literary magazines and issues of Ogmios, the Journal of the Foundation for Endangered Languages.
The subjects of endangered languages and English as part of Quebec’s language culture have been repeatedly treated by Abley and can be found throughout the fonds.
The fonds also includes interviews that Abley conducted within the scope of his research with several English-speaking writers, such as Jane Goodall, Henry Kissinger, and others.

Entre les années 1940 et 1986, Alex Robertson collectionne des disques. La plupart d'entre eux sont des 78 r.p.m., produits par les compagnies Berliner et Compo : Berliner est la première maison canadienne à produire des disques et Compo est la première à enregistrer des musiciens noirs canadiens. La collection comprend aussi des disques et des documents sonores qui n'ont pas connu de commercialisation, ni de diffusion à grande échelle.

Le fonds comprend quelques 3000 partitions de types variés, datant d'environ 1885 jusqu'à 1970, dont 1000 ont du contenu canadien. Le fonds comprend également des catalogues et des brochures promotionnelles provenant des maisons d'édition des enregistrements et des partitions, des détaillants, des clubs de disques et des postes de radio. On y retrouve aussi des livres annotés par Alex Robertson durant ses recherches. Les matériaux de recherche d'Alex Robertson sur les étiquettes et sur les séries, aussi bien que sur l'activité musicale à Montréal entre 1913 et 1970, sont inclus dans le fonds. On y retrouve aussi sa vaste correspondance et des périodiques reliés. Le fonds comprend des photographies d'Alex Robertson et de sa famille, une photographie d'Alex Robertson avec George Martin, auteur sur le jazz et plusieurs photographies prises à l'occasion d'une réception tenue en honneur d'Alex Robertson en 1988 dans la salle de consultation du Service des archives de l'Université Concordia.

The fonds includes materials that were amassed by Harold C. Cross and Murray C. Ross when they were developing their histories of the Montreal Association and the YMCA in Canada, respectively.

Hingston Family fonds

The fonds consists mainly of correspondence received by Sir William Hales Hingston and a few letters received by Mrs. Hingston and their sons William, Donald, and Harold.

There are also photographs, press clippings, brochures, invitations, manuscripts of Sir William's writings, business cards, maps and objects. The fonds includes a scrapbook of press clippings relating to Sir William Hingston's political and professional life, an official document appointing him to the Ottawa Improvement Commission in 1902, the original letters patent related to Sir William's knighthood, and a circa 1889 photograph of Sir William. Also included is an album containing 92 wedding and travel photographs of the Hingston family.

Le fonds Bellelle Guerin documente la vie et l'œuvre de la famille Guerin. Les documents contenus dans le fonds se rapportent principalement aux carrières de John Edmund Guerin et de Bellelle Guerin, mais contient également des documents concernant d'autres membres de la famille Guerin. Deux albums documentent la carrière politique de John Edmund Guerin en tant que maire de Montréal depuis son élection en 1910 jusqu'en 1912. Ces albums contiennent également des documents concernant des événements importants survenus au cours de son mandat, notamment le Congrès eucharistique international, les visites d'Earl Grey et du duc et de la duchesse de Connaught, et la mort du roi Édouard VII, entre autres. Un troisième album contient des informations relatives à l'élection de 1917 et à la Ligue des femmes catholiques du Canada. Certains documents sont également liés à Thomas ou Mary Carroll Guerin. Le quatrième album contient des coupures d'articles de journaux, dont la plupart ont été écrits par Thomas Guérin, le père de Bellelle. Ces articles portent sur le travail de Thomas Guerin en tant qu'ingénieur civil à Montréal dans les années 1870 et 1880 et documentent un certain nombre de ses préoccupations, notamment les problèmes d'égouts et les inondations à Montréal.
Le fonds Bellelle Guerin est composé de 4 albums contenant des coupures de presse et des souvenirs, ainsi qu'une épinglette donnée à James John Edmund Guerin lors du congrès eucharistique de 1910.

Elle est constituée principalement de documents copiés de diverses sources archivistiques copiés par Timothy Slattery pour son livre, The Assassination of D'Arcy McGee, publié en 1968.

La collection comprend environ 50 lettres originales entre Thomas D'Arcy McGee et des membres de sa famille. Elle inclut aussi plusieurs photographies dont une est un portrait de McGee par William Notman. Elle inclut aussi des coupures de presse et des objets.

The fonds is related to Alan Hustak’s work as a journalist and author.
It consists mostly of research material on the Quebec physician and Montreal mayor of Irish origin Sir William Hales Hingston, (1829-1907). The material was collected by Alan Hustak in preparation of his book Sir William Hingston : Montreal Mayor, Surgeon and Banker, published in 2004.
The research material and articles on pilot Albert Mah (1920-2005) and Canadian broadcaster Jimmy Tapp (1918-2004) give an insight in Hustak’s work as a journalist. The fonds also includes photographs of singer Norma Hutton.

The fonds includes without limitations correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, brochures, manuscripts, book chapters and personal documents. Most documents are reproductions, made in the 1990s or later.

The fonds is reflective of Hall’s forty-year career as a counselor, instructor, and administrator at Sir George Williams University in Montreal, Quebec and leader in the field of Canadian education. Materials in this fonds also highlight Hall’s life-long work with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Montreal, his commitment to the growth of Sir George, his role as a respected public figure, his participation in the scientific and religious communities of Montreal, and his diverse personal interests including astronomy, biology, and the history of the Eastern Townships.

The fonds primarily consists of Hall’s teaching notes and course outlines, research, correspondence, his drafts of "The Georgian Spirit: The Story of Sir George Williams University," typed addresses and presentation notes, and conference materials, as well as personal documents such as notebooks, educational records, and gifts. Also included are awards, diplomas and certificates, photographic material, memorabilia, and materials collected and used by Hall such as reports, publications, manuscripts, and press clippings.

The fonds highlights the personal and professional lives of Vincent and Olga Diniacopoulos as antiquarians, collectors, art dealers and travelers. It is comprised of personal letters from, and copies of letters to, family members, friends, and business associates. There are identification documents, passports, and other travel documents, school records and other materials from Olga and Denis’ childhoods’. The fonds includes personal/family photographs, negatives and slides ranging from the 19th century to the 1990s. There are photographs of antiques and works of art; however, many of the subjects are not identified. There are also many publications (books, newspapers) that were collected by the fonds creators throughout the years. Among these written documents is a travel diary and as well as some letters from the 19th century which cannot be clearly linked to the creators of the fonds, but are nevertheless an interesting source of information.
