Biographical history
Kenneth S. Muer was born in 1898 and died in Montreal in 1981, at the age of 83. He was fond of music and collected sheet music.
Custodial history
The collection was acquired from Roslyn L. Muer, Kenneth Muer's daughter, in 1994. The fonds was transferred from Concordia University's Records Management and Archives Department to Concordia University Libraries' Special Collections March 16, 2016.

The collection consists of sheet music for a variety of musical styles.
