Biographical history

Bill Vazan was born in Toronto in 1933. As an artist located in Montreal, for many years he worked with photography and video as well as doing sculpture, primarily with rocks. Vazan's work can be seen in galleries around the world. He was one of the artists involved in Corridart dans la rue Sherbrooke (1976).

Custodial history

The documents were donated to the Concordia University Archives by Bill Vazan in 1996 and 2003. The fonds was transferred from Concordia University's Records Management and Archives Department to Concordia University Libraries' Special Collections March 16, 2016, March 24, 2016, April 6, 2016, and April 13 2016.

Scope and content

The fonds provides information on Bill Vazan's work and exhibitions.

The fonds consists of posters, photographs and catalogs from several of his exhibitions.
